That's old wheel off, dismount tire, mount tire on new wheel, balance, re-calibrate eat dude and a blessing I did not expect. I am so thankful to my friend Daniel aka SwAp GaS who is a service manager at the Honda dealership and found some way to have these installed for me for free. The incoming ones are taped on in one of the pictures. The seller (eBay) I purchased from only sent me 2 caps.more are on the way but in the meantime I've got a spare set on loan. The installer did sand the wheel side paint down very slightly, just enough to help the rings fit right in snugly. I got aluminum ones, this exact product and they fit perfectly, hub and wheel. (3) hub centric rings - also not sure if these were truly necessary but for $15 you can't lose. (2) lug nuts - I'm not actually sure if these are necessary but I got a set of spline drive wheel nuts for $39.99 at Advance Auto, they match the new wheels better, who wants shiny silver lug nuts on your new Rotas? You can get Schrader versions for $4 each on Amazon here, they're supposed to be decent. You need the ones compatable with the OEM TPMS. (1) new Ford OEM valve stems - Ford sold me these for $12 each. If you get these you'll need the following things: But more thoughts on this after more driving happens. Again I didn't drive aggressively since I had my stockers in the back, plus rain. I'm sure cornering will be improved and such as is common with lighter weight wheels. Not a huge gain but a minor noticeable gain. But acceleration feels about like when you add an intake to a car. I'll report more later - I only drove home and had my stock wheels in the back so I couldn't go speed racer. which equates to the feeling of 124 pounds less on the car. Still that's 3.1 lbs./tire which is 12.4 lbs. They are supposed to weigh 18.9 according to the internet but that's not true. A few of the pics make it look higher but that's because I was parked on a slight hill. On a flat road (others have the same, it's normal I've decided) the front is maybe 1/2" higher than the rear, I think it looks that way because the fender shape is a bit different. Interesting things to know when you're matching wheels to tires, not all tires are created equal. FYI my Federal RS-R 215/40/17's are 22.49 lbs, have 86mm sidewall, tread width = 7.5", section width = 8.7". The tire isn't exactly protecting the rim but the rim isn't protruding either. But as you can see in the pics below they look great. I was a bit concerned that the edges would stick out and get damaged from road grit and pebbles and etc., plus I was worried about the stretched look. After tons of research and looking I resolved that the 17x8 wheel was going to be acceptable on my 215/40/17 wheels. I PM'd and texted and talked to 3 or 4 folks who I'd learned had these wheels but didn't post pictures. Maybe I was drawn to them because of my Subaru heritage, these are popular with those cars. I picked these wheels after looking at probably 1000 wheels. That sucks, plus if a wheel is damaged you're screwed looking for a replacement. What they did communicate is they could possibly special order them but they would take 2 months and I'd pay shipping which would be several hundred dollars. I called the Rota HQ in California, they barely speak english and never returned my calls after two conversations. I hoped for 17x7.5 which they do make but they are not available in the USA. I wanted grey wheels (these are 'hyper black' which is really grey). I like 17s (sorry Rick), I feel like they fit the car really well. I was interested in weight reduction but also in style. If you have Rota Grids, feel free to post pics of yours, make sure you include wheel size and tire size. Just read all this, then go to eBay and click "Buy it Now". This thread will hope to be a one-stop destination for someone doing research on Rota wheels and specifically Grids. So I thought I'd make a new thread in hopes of helping some folks who are searching and trying to figure it all out like I did. Titled as such to help folks searching in future times.I had a heck of a time getting info on these wheels but after poking around I made my choice and today they were installed. The education site Disciplined Agile Delivery (DAD) offers helpful definitions of product managers and product owners, which we will summarize here.ĭAD describes the role of the product manager as strategic in practice and “focused on the long-term vision for the product, on observing trends in the marketplace, on identifying new potential outcomes or themes to be supported by the product, on supporting the sales/adoption of the product, and on ensuring the product meets the needs of the value stream(s) the product is involved with.” A product manager’s role focuses on long-term strategy, the product vision, market trends, and the identification of new opportunities. Product management is strategically driving the development, market launch, and continual support and improvement of a company’s products. This article will delve into each of these roles and examine the similarities and differences between them. They translate the product manager’s strategy into actionable tasks and work with cross-functional agile teams to execute those requirements. Product owners (which you’ll find typically in agile organizations) are more tactical. They focus on the product’s vision, company objectives, and the market. But to the extent that any consensus exists about the fundamental difference between product managers and product owners, it is this: that of a product manager and explore the various skills and responsibilities.Īt the highest level, there are several competing definitions for product managers and product owners. Today we’ll look at the role of a product owner vs. However, the roles of product manager and product owner are indeed different. What is the difference between a product manager and a product owner? The terms are often used interchangeably, and admittedly there is some overlap. Eukaryotic cells have a nucleus that contains the cell’s genetic material. Mitosis occurs in eukaryotic (animal) cells. Mitosis results in two new nuclei-which contain DNA-that eventually become two identical cells during cytokinesis. The role of mitosis in the cell cycle is to replicate the genetic material in an existing cell-known as the “parent cell”-and distribute that genetic material to two new cells, known as “daughter cells.” In order to pass its genetic material to the two new daughter cells, a parent cell must undergo cell division, or mitosis. Mitosis is a process that occurs during the cell cycle. In other words, in the world of cell biology, mitosis is kind of a big deal!īut like with anything science-related, mitosis can be sort of confusing when you first try to understand it. In order to heal an injury, your body needs to replace damaged cells with healthy new ones.and mitosis plays a crucial role in this process! Mitosis is a process of cell division that helps you stay alive and healthy. There are many things that programmers do to make their code understandable. SR converter only runs when count2 = 2, which happens after 2 triggers, and then is set back to 0 by SR converter, so every time 2 triggers occur, next time I poll the Arduino, the arrays should update. In SRConverter(), SRB and backGroundSignal are the exact same things as SRA, only filling up the other 2 arrays, so I left that out. Hi, I have a project which uses an ISR on a laser trigger. So, as a general rule, you should start with the latest version and, if your device cannot maintain full speed, try the next oldest core and repeat until you can maintain a solid, full-speed framerate. When selecting cores, the ones without a year after their names are the most up-to-date, while the ones with years (such as Snes9x2010) are snapshots from an earlier period of the core’s development when it was faster but less accurate. The libretro documentation site can also provide information that may be useful in choosing the right core for your needs. You can visit our forum here and read other users’ preferences. So try and find the Core that suits your needs. Use the arrow keys to navigate the menu, and press Enter to make a selection. Collectively, they should let users emulate systems like the Nintendo Entertainment System. There is no best core, each has a different use case (accuracy, speed…). The next night on RAW, Banks can congratulate Bayley on her win. The two have a good, clean match that Bayley ultimately wins (preferably with a roll-up). Banks then challenges Bayley to a friendly one on one match at WrestleMania, similar to Eddie vs Rey 13 years prior. To start, Bayley could pin Sasha in the Elimination Chamber match, gaining some retribution for Banks eliminating her from the Royal Rumble. WWE planted the seeds for this last Monday on RAW when Bayley brought up her success against Banks prior to “The Huggable One’s” match against Asuka. Bayley won both of those classics, so WWE could use that as a sticking point whenever “The Boss” turns heel. After all, these ladies produced arguably the two best women’s matches in company history at consecutive NXT Takeovers back in 2015. WWE has plenty of Bayley/Banks history to draw from. Their friction eventually cost them the tag titles and ultimately led to Guerrero turning on Mysterio. Remember those singles matches I mentioned? Well, they all had similar finishes: Rey Mysterio winning. Although they were teammates, they fought in numerous singles matches–including a fun opening clash at WrestleMania 21.ĭespite their success as a duo, there was some underlying tension brewing between the two. However, the story arch that will work best for both women would be one that mirrors the final major feud of Bank’s childhood idol, Eddie Guerrero. WWE can go in many directions with this impending rivalry. This is a feud that both women need to reignite fans’ interest in them. Banks has suffered from WWE positioning her as a choker–winning the Women’s title but never successfully defending it–along with the creative team burning through her feuds with Alexa Bliss and Nia Jax.īayley still hasn’t recovered from her character assassination over the summer–This is Your Life, being afraid to use a kendo stick, etc. Honestly, both women need this feud to re-invigorate their characters. By Christopher Jeter 5 years ago Follow Tweetīayley vs. Other Top Ten songs followed in the late '50s for Domino: "Whole Lotta Loving" (#6), "I Want To Walk You Home" (#8) and "Be My Guest" (#8). Another Fats Domino hit, "I'm Walkin" (#4) was covered by Ricky Nelson in 1957 and helped to launch the teenage singing sensation's career. In 1957 he appeared in a movie that many consider to be the best Rock 'n' Roll film ever made, The Girl Can't Help It, singing his hit "Blue Monday" (#5). Fats could also be heard in the background on the records of other artists such as Joe Turner and Lloyd Price. The latter became Domino's highest charting record ever. In 1956 he put five songs in the American Top 40, including "I'm In Love Again" (#3) and Fats' rendition of a tune that had reached number one for Glenn Miller in 1940, "Blueberry Hill" (#2). The song established both artists as stars. Boone's version went to number one and Domino's version on Imperial went to number ten. In 1952, Fats placed more songs on the R&B chart, including "Every Night About This Time" and "Goin' Home" and scored again in 1953 with "Going To The River".įats Domino's fortunes changed dramatically in 1955 when his song, "Ain't That A Shame" was covered by White recording artist, Pat Boone. The record reached number two on the R&B charts, selling over a million copies and re-affirmed his lifelong nick name. Bartholomew helped arrange a contract with Imperial Records in 1949 and served as producer on a cleaned up version of a song about drugs called "The Fat Man" for Domino's first commercial release. It soon became obvious that this piano player was much more than just a sideman. He continued with music into the '40s and was eventually heard by trumpeter Dave Bartholomew, who invited him to join his band. By the time he was twenty, Antoine was married and a father, had survived a near-fatal car crash, and had almost lost his hand in an industrial accident. By fourteen he had quit school to work days in a bedspring factory so he could perform at night in local clubs. He first began performing in 1938 at age 10, and a year later was playing for pennies in honky-tonk bars like The Hideway Club, where bandleader Bill Diamond started calling him "Fats". His playing was influenced by boogie woogie pianists like Albert Ammons, Meade Lux Lewis and Little Willie Littlefield. When he was 7 years old, Antoine started taking piano lessons from his much older brother-in-law Harrison Verrett. Antoine Domino was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, on the 26th of February 1928, in a home where French was the main language spoken. # Median : 8.50 Mode :character TRUE :266 Actually it is a good idea to run these functions regularly throughout data cleaning to keep tabs on any changes you make. After confirming with our original data that this is in fact a typo we will replace it with the real value. # Snail.ID Sex Size Feeding Distance Depth Temp Snail Using the same logic you can do this for rows as well. Snail_feeding, is.na, in our data frame are not equal, != to the number of rows, nrow, of our data frame. For example, the following code will replace the data frame in this example with one that only includes the first 7 columns and removes the 5 unwanted ones (X, X.1,X.2,X.3 etc). If the problem is still there we can tackle it in R, by indexing within square brackets dataframe. This problem can be avoided during data entry by removing all the colors/formatting and emptying columns/rows except for those needed. If you see a bunch of extra columns (X, X.1,X.2,X.3 etc) or rows in your data frame filled with NAs its likely because a character (most likely white space(i.e. space bar or tab) was entered in cells beyond your actual data in Excel. You don’t get the number of columns or rows you expect Note that for the factor of sex, errors in data entry resulted in five levels (female, female s, male, Male and males) when there should be only two. # Mode:logical Mode:logical Mode:logical Mode:logical # Mode :character Median : 1.510 Median :19.00 # Median : 8.50 Mode :character Mode :character TRUE :266 # 1st Qu.: 4.75 Class :character Class :character FALSE:502 Summary allows you to look at basic statistics for each of your variables and can be used to identify any obvious typos (i.e., extreme maximums or minimums relative to the mean or median or extra groups within a categorical vector). # $ Feeding : logi FALSE FALSE FALSE FALSE FALSE TRUE. # $ Size : chr "small" "small" "small" "small". # $ Sex : chr "male" "male" "males" "male". See Data types and structure for explanations of these different types. Str enables you to check the structure of your data and that your variables are the correct type (i.e., numeric, characters, integers, or factors). To avoid some of these issues, check your data using str and summary before analyses. Likewise, if something is a factor when it should be character, some character operations might fail. If something is a character when it should be numeric you might see messages such as “‘x’ must be numeric” or “non-numeric argument to binary operator”. Snail_feeding <- read.csv("Snail_feeding.csv", header = T, strip.white = T, na.strings = "") Putting all these together in the read.csv function will give us a cleaner data frame. In addition, if you have coded missing values as something other then blank space you can define that missing value using this argument (i.e na.strings = c("", "-", "*")). Using na.strings = "" will insert NAs instead. Annoyingly, R imports missing values within characters/factors types as a value ““. Na.strings = "" - this will ensure that empty cells are replaced by NA (the way R records missing data). If we set this as TRUE, they both become “males”, otherwise R will think there are two different levels. This is a common typing error made during data entry (i.e., “males” vs. “males_”). Strip.white = T - this will remove trailing and leading white space from factors. Header = T - specifying this at T (i.e., TRUE) will ensure that the values in the first row of your data are treated as variable names. The ones that are particularly useful are: Have a look at the help file within R (by typing ?read.csv to familiarise yourself with some of these arguments. When you use read.csv, R uses several default arguments which can be altered to ensure your data are imported with fewer errors. The bicep muscle plays a vital role in most sports and pulling movements. This classic bicep exercise has gotten a bad rep in recent years. Cable curls and concentration curls produced the greatest muscle activation of the biceps brachii. After comparing eight different bicep exercises, researchers have found that barbell curls were more effective than EZ curls. In fact, they may produce greater biceps brachii activation throughout the whole elbow range of motion compared to the Preacher curl.īarbell curls can be more effective than their EZ bar counterpart.Īnother study, which was conducted by the American Council on Exercise, says something else. Surprisingly, dumbbell bicep curls appear to be the least effective however, they’re a good choice for beginners as they allow them to learn proper form. Using an EZ bar elicits a greater activation of the biceps brachii and brachioradialis compared to other variations. This list also includes hammer curls, which are a variation of the dumbbell curl.Īccording to a 2018 study, EZ-bar curls yield better results than regular barbell curls and dumbbell bicep curls. Now that you know how to do dumbbell bicep curls with perfect form, try different variations: Straighten your arm fully at the bottom of each rep. Remember to keep your elbows close to your sides and locked into the right position in order to fully engage the biceps.Īlso, keep constant tension on your biceps instead of relaxing the muscle when you reach the top or bottom of the movement. This way, you’ll recruit more muscle fibers by supinating the wrists. The lighter weights will also allow you to perfect your form so you are doing the exercise correctly and feeling the movement in the biceps muscle.ĮZ bar curl is an advanced variation of the dumbbell curl.Īnother trick you can use is to rotate the wrists externally. When it comes to bicep curls, it’s better to use a lighter load that allows you to perform slow, controlled reps.īy doing so, you’ll get a better pump, which in turn, stretches muscle cell membranes and stimulates hypertrophy. Many guys think that building bigger arms means using heavier weights, but that’s not the case. Keep your upper body still and do not use momentum. You can also perform this exercise with one arm at a time. Inhale and lower the weight with a slow, controlled motion.Squeeze your biceps and hold the contraction for 1-2 seconds. Exhale and curl the dumbbells up to your shoulders until your forearms are perpendicular to the floor.Keep your arms straight, your palms facing in, and your elbows close to your torso.
